2018 is expected to be a break through year for new songs, albums and concerts being released and performed by a variety of your favourite artists. Make sure to make room in your schedule to go to these artists concerts and listen to the upcoming albums.

Some of your old favourites are returning, such as American pop singer Katy Perry who is back and better than ever! After her time out of the spotlight, Katy returns with her new album Witness. Two lead singles “Bon Appetit”, “Chained to the Rhythm” and the classics, such as “Dark Horse” and “Last Friday Night” are being performed by Katy Perry at Rogers Arena on February 5 and 6. P!NK Is also back on the road with her Beautiful Drama World Tour on May 12 at Rogers Arena, as well as Harry Styles with his first ever solo tour after the One Direction split. Arguably the most beloved and known boy of the group is performing his Harry Styles tour around the world, including at Rogers Arena on July 6.

New Zealand pop sensation Lorde has returned with her new record Melodrama, which has received many positive reviews and topped the billboard charts. Watch her perform hit songs, such as “Green Light” at Rogers Arena on March 8. The dark pop sensation Dua Lipa will also be performing but at the Vogue Theatre on February 16 with her self-titled tour in support of her 2017 debut album Dua lipa. Dua Lipa will be performing hit songs such as, “New Rules” and “Be the one.” Make sure not to miss the seventh upcoming studio album by the famous American rock band group Fall Out Boy that is set to be released on January 19. The track has been pushed back after earlier announcing for the track to be released on September 15 of 2017. Group member, Patrick Stump, has tweeted that the album will be pushed back since they felt that it was incomplete and very rushed. The album Mania will be featuring songs such as “Young and Menace” and “Champion.”

One of the biggest 2015 breakouts, Walk the Moon, is coming to Vancouver with their indie vibes and upbeat songs. They will be performing at the Vogue Theatre on February 10 with songs such as “Shut up and Dance.” They are touring in support of their new album called What If Nothing that has been released on November 10. Another musical sensation, the 1970’s Rock band The Eagles are embarking on a 2018 North American tour. Currently they are only planning to make two stops in Canada, is in Vancouver at Rogers Arena on May 10.

American singer and pop artist Charlie Puth is releasing his new 2018 album on January 19 Voice Notes. This album will be featuring iconic songs such as “How long” and “Attention.” Last but definitely not least, Sam Smith will be performing at Rogers Arena on September 10 promoting his new album The Thrill Of It All, which was released on November 3 of this year. His amazing vocals and touching songs have topped the Billboard Hot 100, such as the song “Too Good at Goodbyes,” which has made the top 5 in the US.
