The annual “Take your kids to work day” arrived at Riverside yet again, on Wednesday, November 3. The majority of students followed around their parent, relative or friend, who hosted them for the day at their workplace. The students had to complete a reflection assignment on how their experience went and their opinion on the career of their host, which had to be published on their blog. This gives grade nines an opportunity to see what their future may look like. The non-participating students completed an alternative assignment at school. The Eddy hit the halls of Riverside to find out what the students and a teacher thought about the “Take your kids to work day” experience.
