Lights at Lafarge is a free winter attraction that features over 100,000 Christmas lights and festive displays around Coquitlam’s Lafarge Lake. This is an annual event where people get to enjoy the park, the lake, and the lit path`s unique designs with their family and friends for free.

Canyon Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
Canyon Lights at Capilano is one of the top places that people love to visit during Christmas. This season, the world-famous suspension bridge will be illuminated with a multi-colour changing display until January 31, 2022. The
gorgeous seasonal event is great for a family outing or a date, and it gives a lot of photo opportunities. Proof of vaccination is not required to enter the park, but it is required to dine in at The Cliff House Restaurant. There are
close to 500,000 lights and decorations at Capilano Suspension in North Vancouver. It’s a great place for a date or a family visit. Canyon Lights is a wonderful way to get into the joy of the Christmas season.

The Vancouver Christmas Market is another fun activity to go to for the Christmas holiday until December 24, 2021. The Vancouver Christmas Market is a German-style holiday festival. This festival shows how the German people celebrate Christmas. Daniel Chai, a writer and actor based in Vancouver, mentioned in the Daily Hive article that this festival has over 80 vendors where you can buy gifts, food, and desserts: Christmas Gift Stalls, Christmas Snow Globes, homemade Christmas style cakes, Christmas Hot Chocolate, freshly made giant pretzels, and heart-shaped Lebkuchen. The Vancouver Christmas Market has been going on for the last 11 years since it started in 1999.

Glow Langley is a vibrant place where many people visit every year around Christmas time with their families and loved ones to enjoy the beautiful light displays. There is also a drive-thru option that allows cars to enter a large
area and experience 20 minutes of nonstop lighting. It is one of the must-see places in Vancouver for Christmas because of the many Christmas-themed light displays. Mateo Carrillo, a Riverside grade 11 student who has visited the venue, mentioned that people really enjoy watching the beautiful lights while listening to Christmas songs in the car and drinking peppermint flavoured hot chocolate.
