The toughest training I’ve ever had to do was when me and my basketball coach had to teach me to stop shooting off my head since I was shorter than the others playing. This took hours over the summer since I hadn’t developed any of the muscle memory to repeat this; I was in the gym every other day putting up shots. It almost made me want to quit since for every shot I went off my hip, I had to run three laps. Thankfully, though, I stuck with it and now I get to play the sport I love and I am good at.
